Q2 2024 Events Proposal

This proposal is a simplified version of the full 2024 Akash events proposal for Q2 disbursement. Please see the original Github discussions for 2024 Events here.

Given current overall market conditions as of March 2024, the massive interest in Akash’s GPU marketplace and the fantastic reviews of Akash’s presence at EthDenver in Q1 of 2024, we would like to propose an increase in the events budget for Q2.

This includes:

• 2 additional community attendees
• Doubled Akash side event budget
• Doubled sponsored event budget

Tier one events would will now have a budget of: $134,150.69 USD (Previous $67,620.67) Tier two events will now have a budget of: $48,261.53 USD (Previous $32,174.35)

For Q2, there is one pre-selected event from 2024’s event signaling proposal:

• Consensus 24 - Tier 1

Updated List of 2024 Events including the new budget proposed.

At current prices ($5.15 per AKT), there is around $52,000 worth of AKT leftover from Q1 and is taken into account for this proposal.

Total community pool request for Q2 2024: $82,150.69 or 15,951.59 AKT

• Approval for the full funding amount and
• Authorize the community pool to disburse 15,951.59 AKT ($82,150.69) for event funding to a publicly visible wallet.

By voting NO, you disagree that community pool resources should be used for event funding.
