Overview/nThe Akash Community Awards Board (CAB) was formed on July 21st 2021 to fund projects which add value to the Akash ecosystem. Akash Proposal #9 provided the initial funding for the CAB and Proposal #16 provided additional funding. Historically, these CommunityPoolSpend proposals delivered funds to a multisig wallet controlled by Akash team members, who would then send funding to developers after the CAB made decisions. To increase the speed of funding and decentralization of the CAB funding process, we are proposing the CAB wallet be turned into a multisig controlled by Akash CAB members: Tom Beynon, Anthony Rosa, Maxime Beauchamp, Joseph Chalabi, Space Potato, and Ethan Kravitz. Since the CAB has been entrusted by the Community to partition funds from the Community Pool, we think it is most fair to let the community decide whether or not to grant the CAB full control of the funding process./n/n# Follow On Actions/nIf the community votes yes to turn the CAB wallet into a CAB controlled multisig, Moultrie Audits will submit a funding proposal for the new wallet. If the community votes no, Moultrie Audits will submit a funding proposal to the current Akash team controlled multisig.
