Summary

The Juno Communications SubDAO presents this funding proposal to continue the work it has been accomplishing.

Over the past 7 months, the subDAO has been working voluntarily to the benefit of Juno and its community, a community we are very much a part of. We believe we have proven that our subDAO is able to self-organize and effectively collaborate with other stakeholders and projects in the ecosystem, which has helped spread the word about Juno and fill the missing link for the consistent Juno updates and exposure. In order to solidify the continuity of these efforts and the people that enable them, we are asking for funding to sustain our performance after proving ourselves voluntarily for a significant period of time.

We are requesting funding with a total allocation of $10200 from the community pool, to cover 3 months, providing us with $3400 monthly. This support is crucial in driving our work at Juno Comms DAO and implementing our future plans, which include producing developer-focused videos to empower new developers within the ecosystem.

The Juno Comms DAO currently consists of 6 members: Highlander, Camel, Cakir, Max, Julius, and Lukas. For this proposal, the funding distribution goes towards Highlander and Camel, who have been the most active dedicated contributors to the SubDAO.

Content produced by the SubDAO is generally a result of effective collaboration, however the main roles of each contributor mostly goes as follows:

• Highlander: SubDAO Management, Project Coordination and Interviews, Conference Attendance, Video Production, Twitter Spaces Hosting
• Camel: Graphics production, Articles, Tweets, Recordings, Proposal Writings

We firmly believe that securing funding for our dedicated contributors to compensate their efforts will significantly enhance Juno Communications SubDAO's impact and ensure the continuous commitment of fulfilling our objectives.

Accomplishments

Up until now, our team has made significant strides in content creation and effectively spreading the message of Juno and its ongoing developments, all while operating with limited resources.

Some of our notable achievements, as outlined in prop 55, include:

1. Community Engagement: We have diligently kept the community informed and up-to-date by sharing relevant news through various channels, such as our YouTube channel and our Twitter account, as well as hosting biweekly community calls.
2. Community Growth: Our efforts have led to the attraction of new community members who have joined the Juno ecosystem due to the impact of our work.
3. Brand Management: We have actively managed Juno's branding, ensuring a consistent and recognizable identity for the project.
4. Support for Juno Projects: As dedicated contributors, we have extended support to projects building on Juno, fostering a vibrant and collaborative ecosystem.
5. Public Communication: We have played a crucial role in engaging the community by administering Telegram, Discord, and other chat platforms. Through these channels, we consistently provide news and essential information.
6. Collaborative Efforts: Our team actively collaborates with other official SubDAOs to identify noteworthy developments and events. Subsequently, we promote these updates through press releases and social media, amplifying their impact.

Our work so far has been instrumental in promoting Juno's growth, reinforcing its presence in the wider crypto community, and ensuring an informed and engaged community. With the support we are seeking, we can continue to build upon these achievements and drive Juno Communications SubDAO to even greater heights.

Sustained Activities of the Juno Communications SubDAO

In our ongoing efforts to fortify the SubDAO and its influence on the Juno ecosystem, we are committed to maintain the following strategic initiatives:

1. Regular Twitter Spaces: We will organize Twitter Spaces on a bi-weekly basis, providing a platform for meaningful discussions and interactions with the community.
2. Content Creation and Snippet Production: Our team will continue to engage in content creation, extracting valuable snippets from interviews, community calls, and ecosystem events. These snippets will serve to effectively disseminate key messages and updates.
3. Support for Juno Projects: We remain dedicated to fostering strong relationships with projects within the Juno ecosystem. Through continuous support and guidance, we will showcase their contributions, fostering further growth within the ecosystem.
4. Global Community Outreach: A key focus will be on reaching out to Juno communities worldwide, aligning their efforts with the overarching narrative set forth by Juno Communications SubDAO. This alignment will contribute to a cohesive and consistent parallel communication approach.
5. Facilitating Connections with Core-1 Members: We aim to connect Core-1 members with live streamers and content creators who can effectively amplify the Juno story. These collaborations will extend the reach and impact of Juno's messaging.
6. Active Twitter Engagement: Devoting dedicated time to monitoring Twitter activity, we will seek out projects aligned with Juno's interests to retweet and engage, further fostering community connections and awareness.

By diligently sustaining these endeavors, the Juno Communications SubDAO will continue to thrive, reinforcing Juno's brand presence and ensuring that our collective efforts effectively contribute to the wider success of the Juno ecosystem.

Specific Deliverables During the Funding Period

• Streamlined Task Management: Will develop a user-friendly Notion task template to efficiently manage all aspects of Juno Communications SubDAO. This template will enable contributors to access and engage with tasks, fostering a more collaborative environment. This can be made public to now show the progress our SubDAO is achieving for the community.
• The Juno Communications SubDAO sees itself take an important role in the user onboarding experience. To that end we plan to create a series of 6 videos with topics like; Development Experience, Code 'n Chill like sessions, Core-1 Takeaways, Post Hackathon Interviews, Project Deep Dives, among others, which we will begin producing to at least cover 3 of these topics.
• We plan to have 3 in-depth interviews, we are currently targeting Lava Network, Ojo, and Komple. Exact video topics will be dependent on availability of these teams. If a team is unavailable the SubDAO will do its best to find a fitting replacement while we continue to work together with a variety of talented teams to have a consistent video schedules during the funding period and beyond.
• Collaboration with JWG: Going forward, will closely collaborate with the Juno Working Group (JWG) to help showcase and amplify their contributions. It is crucial to effectively communicate their efforts to the wider community to ensure Juno's long-term success. With that being said, We have proposed funding for 3 months only to allow future changes in how SubDAOs are financed if JWG come to a new plan.
• Spotlight on Juno's Enhanced Developer Experience: Will align closely with Reece (Juno Development Lead) to highlight the significant boost in developer experience which he is bringing.

By pursuing these plans and with the funding support we are requesting, we will be better equipped to serve our role as the Juno Communications SubDAO, in expectation that our past 7 months of volunteer work has proven our reliability and effectiveness while fulfilling the important duty of promoting Juno and its overall growing success.
