Proposal #228 description
According to the last announcement for adding a new Liquid Staking Validator, we had got an LSV application form for 2 weeks. Based on the scoring system that we opened and discussed on the commonwealth, we extracted the top 3 candidates out of 9 candidates.
Voting YES to this proposal means that you approve ‘Genesis Lab’ to be adopted as a new liquid staking validator.
only YES votes will be counted. Voting NO, NO WITH VETO, or ABSTAIN will have no effect on which candidate is adopted. (However, when the number of the voting amount is significantly different among each candidate, No votes can be reflected)
Voting procedures summary:
- Existing LSV should not vote, and votes by existing LSV will not be counted for this proposal
- Only one candidate that receives the highest number of CRE for ‘Yes’ voting, can only proceed to the next step
- The final validator needs to be agreed upon via on-chain governance(existing LSV need to vote)
- New LSV is added upon the passing of the governance proposal

How will you contribute to the Crescent Ecosystem in the future?
:Emergency situations: We completely understand, that blockchains are experimental technologies and it is crucial to be in touch 24/7 for effective and quick issue addressing. Our Prometheus and Grafana-based monitoring system combined with Prometheus alert manager allows us to be aware of the condition of the network around the clock for instant reaction. Governance: We acknowledge importance of the governance process in decentralized systems. We are taking part in all governance activities such as discussing and voting with full responsibility. Community & Marketing: In addition to the Stakeflow explorer (https://stakeflow.io/) development we have a blog on Medium (https://blog.stakeflow.io/) and a Twitter (https://twitter.com/stakeflow) account, where we regularly publish educational posts and articles for the public good. We will be pleased to make materials about the Crescent network for our socials. Other services: We use our own APIs, RPCs, gRPCs for every maintaining blockchain as well as Crescent. We are maintaining IBC relayers between crucial projects of the Cosmos Hub.
What is your long-term plan to sustain the Crescent node?
:We are going to provide the best performance and security for the our validator node and infrastructure.
Infra specs and operation specs
:We are using dedicated server for Crescent node and we can use additional dedicated servers for sentry nodes. For monitoring we use Prometheus, Grafana and our custom exporters if needed. We collect metrics by Prometheus node_exporter and visualise at Grafana, also we are using Prometheus alert_manager to get alerts to our Slack channel to react instantly to any problem. We also use ssh access and a firewall on all our servers to ensure security. Our team is available 24/7 in the case of problems with the node.
